Lindsay was born in Toronto and studied at the Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD-U). She lived and worked in San Diego, London (England), Vancouver and Calgary, and returned to Toronto to continue her endeavours as a full time artist and art teacher. She is employed by the City of Toronto, Parks and Recreation, teaching children and adults, and has taught classes at Regent Park, C.A.M.H., Workman Arts, and various other venues. She was commissioned by the City of Toronto to paint murals on Bell Canada cable boxes, and worked with other artists on a year-long project creating five glass tile mosaics for C.A.M.H. (Centre for Addiction & Mental Health).
